G`day ,
thanks , sorry , i miss read the vacuum thing .
Even if it`s not using any coolant and the gauge isn`t showing high under normal use or putting more pressure in the coolant system , i`d suggest you may have found the beginning of a headgasket failure .
Cylinder #1 lends itself to a leak between compression and coolant .
This may account for the good running Monday and the miss at start on other days .
If the idea were correct , it would be sealing after shut down and unsealing in use and it should only get more pronounced .
If you gave it a compression test on a day that it misses at start up it may tell something .
You would need to do a wet test for that cylinder also to tell something of the valves .
You can judge the urgency by how it is reacting and if it starts using coolant , starts using more fuel than usual ETC .
I`m only giving ideas as i can`t see the whole thing , so only something to think on or dismiss .
