Well, I have wracked my brain and dredged my memory banks - about 30 years ago, there was a bloke getting around Canberra in a Series III that had been modded in the form of a motorcycle clutch lever fitted to the gearstick.
From memory, it had vacuum assist, and, my memory is vague, however I believe a check valve was either removed or inserted to permit equal proportional movement when applying or releasing the clutch.
The bloke was ex RAN, but he didn't have a left arm lie Popeye, so it must ave been ok!

I remember when I worked as a motor mechanic we had cars come in that had a leaver attached to the steering column that when pushed down pushed against the clutch peddle . We also had a guy who was disabled who was a driving school instructor , his Austin 1800 manual had been modified so he could drive it as well as use the duel controls.
I presume the good people who make ours cars safe wont allow these modifications now.
This just gorse to show , there is nothing you can't do if you put your mind to it. The guy who owns & built this vehicle is in an electric wheel chair & has limited use of his arms as well.
It is built on a Hyundai I30 platform from a write off. It uses other parts from other makes IE Citroen & Ford . He drives his wheel chair up a ramp through the rear , he built this vehicles so he can take dis 2 children with him.
He also has a motor bile with side car & motor scooter with side car that he rides & steers from the side car.
It is strange when you drive up behind him on the road , when you first see him you think there is something strange about it , then you realise there is no rider on the bike ? scooter.
There is also an other guy here in Brisbane who has had one if his arms amputated above the elbow who rides a motor bike using a metal bar attached to the stub.
So don't give up there is a way around everything .
Lea Richmond Auto at Thomastown could no doubt sort you out Carl. Tell them I sent you, Andrew will look after you.
