If its anything like the Disco2, it'll be the ABS sensors. See if it clears, and also probably try new pads that dont squeel.

the diaphragm inside may have died....

it has a rubber diaphragm inside with pressurised gas on one side and
pressurised brake fluid on the other side.....
the pressure in the brake fluid(built up by the abs pump) gives a higher pressure
than in the gas chamber side....this is what gives you stored boost for braking
assistance....

if you pump the pedal with the ignition off.....

will it get hard after less than 20 pumps...?

or does it feel like its just full of air......?
and needs a bleed....?
