Yep Dave's Engine Saver is a top product and David is a true gent. When I was getting 'false' alarms it turned out to be blown head gasket and air getting in. Cheers

Just as a general comment: I have spent most of my working life maintaining alarm systems of various types. ALL monitoring alarm systems should be connected using a N.O. contact. That is to say the contact will be closed when whatever is being monitored is in a safe / normal state. This way the circuit is self monitoring and any fault, such as an open circuit in the wiring, will bring up the alarm.
Also, any "system" worthy of being called such, should have a built in delay to prevent false alarms, such as caused by water sloshing in a tank.
