Yep.

The unit injectors seem remarkably tolerant.

At least the TD5 injectors have come down in price from the $1500 they cost JRA back in '99.
Imagine what retail was back then.

Tombie,non issue IMHO.I've never suffered from injector failure in an LR yet,and I've done some miles in them .This argument is like 5K oil changes,LR injector failure is like rocking horse poo,never seen it,LR engines wearing out from dirty oil,never seen it,LR engines destroyed from overheating,everyones seen it,but do they service their cooling systems before summer time,noooooo . I would have assumed that if u cop a dirty batch of fuel or water in fuel, the chances of all 5 being damaged in some way would be high also. 1 or even 2 damaged TD5 injectors and there's the price of a full set of the TDCi ones anyhow.....

Hey Justin C you maintain many TD5s how many injectors do you replace??
Dazza I presume you are in a similar position how many do you replace??

I have heard of the occasional broken spring and failed coils but this seems to be rare

Not sure myself, I just know that's what MR Auto mentioned that could damage them. To what extent & how bad, I wouldn't know...
