Thread: Can Adaptive Learning Be Turned Off?

Battler, the rear O2's just check the fronts are doing what their supposed to be doing,,
I think they just "fault",(think orange engine check lamp) I dont think they contribute to the tune at all.
The front and rear sensor cables are colour coded, orange and grey, and supposedly dont swap ---
the rears from the USA are much cheaper than the fronts from here,,,,,

I spend half my life waiting for the LTFT's to settle why would I want to reset the ecm on purpose!

How do you stop the car from running closed loop?

Not sure why Pedro but I guess it's because there is no signal from the rear O2s.

Doesn't seem to make any difference to fuel consumption. Currently averaging 13.5L at 100kph (uncorrected on 32s).

What app are you using to monitor your fuel trims?
