Replacement bolts are a nice luxury in this scenario.... there is no specific reason to use them ( unless someone has ZF specific data that argues differently ), but there is also no specific reason not too ( unless the replacement bolts don't meet spec ).
My question would be, do ZF, you know, the guys who would know, specify new bolts? Would LR, who fit the ZF Transmission, NOT spec new bolts if the OEM specified them. Answer those questions and you have your answer. ( Service Bullettins are a part of this, as any SBs would well and truly have been addressed by now ).
