I might try that. But if it involves the power steering fluid going everywhere and having to go through all that, then it might be worth actually changing the hoses.

I blew the gasket in the steering pump and had to replace it. Wish I had thought to replace the lines at the same time :roll:

I did exactly that and it's lasted 3 1/2 years without leaking.
At the time I couldn't find an aftermarket piece of hose that would fit.
