not worth the risk not having them
Ran into a rock crossing a river had to get the hole welded.
Go the diff guards.
Cheers
Simon
Yes I do and yes they are.
As all the other answers say 8)
ok so you have talked me into it, those of you who have invested in diff guards.
What brands best, type, place to buy? I'm in Perth.
Oh and what do they normally cost?
I've seen some that bolt around the diff, some that bolt through, (into) the housing, some cover half the diff, some just a bar????

I have QT-diff protector on the front diff and their rockslider on the rear. Saved me several times already. I think they are a must if you go out off roading on rocky ground.
JoJo - where did you get your QT guards from? I've tried a few people (Coopers and TRS) but they don't carry QT stuff.
Thanks
David
I have the same type as Hiline, except mine was hot dipped galv instead of plated.
Cost me $90 two years ago.
