DownUnderSteve: I'd like a front and rear pair, so would be interested to hear the pricing you get back from them. Do you know what is involved at our end? Do you have to clear any customs etc or does it just get delivered to an Australian address via courier/post?
Thanks
David
I haven't had a reply yet, but I'll let you all know when I do.
I'm not sure about import duties etc but as it is being exported the prices on the website SHOULD be ex VAT, (VAT = UK,GST) so price should be reduced by 17.5% if it states including VAT.
I would guess that if import duties do apply then the VAT saving would off-set it.
If it's only a couple of kilo's (which I doubt?) and it can go by normal post it should just be delivered to the door.
All that can be checked out though before ordering, I supose it would depend on shipping costs realy, from memory the rear slider/protector was about 50 pounds & 40 pounds for the front diff protector.
That would be about $225 for the two, plus shipping.
I priced a front diff protector for my rangie, locally, and it was going to cost $125 so they are quite reasonable I think, but the shipping might be a lot.
We'll have to wait and see.
Anyone got any friesnds coming over with an empty case https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

I'll wait till I get a firm cost for two units then see who still wants one, or two or not. Then ask for a deal on X amount.
You never know
G'day from Malaysia .
Have recently bought QT front & rear diff guard from UK . Cost about 170GBP to have it couriered to Malaysia . Have not get them fitted yet.
They front guard need welding of two tabs for installing it . Have to get to a mate with a welder .
They are a bit slow with emails. Try Kerry or Dave Marsh at QT if you need names .

Still no reply from QT but ......
I was in Discovery Autos, (Perth) on the weekend and they had both a front & rear diff guards in stock. The rear guard was the slider type.
I have a RR the guards were for a landy.
Looked like they only had one of each in stock but didn't ask so can't be sure.
Might be worth a phone call if you have a landy.
I see there are a few suppliers of diff guards interstate, does anyone know if there is a supplier in Brisbane ??
I've seen all the 'other' ones and still find the Graeme Cooper one the best out of them all. If it can survive my treatment, it must be well made https://www.aulro.com/afvb/
I don't like the clamp on type, I've seen them come off on club trips on sharp rocks, etc... Good for the back though.
