    Holden V8 in 1985 RRC

    Hello,
I have a 1985 RRC with a Holden 304 (VN heads, no computer), 727 auto and straight LPG through an IMPCO 425. I was wondering what intake and exhaust manifolds other people are using on a setup like this, also the camshaft, standard or another grind. Also any other tips, tricks or information people have with a Holden V8 in their RRC. The picture is my 304 with a single plane intake manifold, currently I have the original EFI banana manifold with the IMPCO 425 and Rochester base plate bolted to it. The exhaust manifolds are the cast type, I don't know which model of commodore they are off but they just fit in there. Also the LPG consumption is around 25 litres per 100km, does this sound excessive?
    Regards
    Richard.

I used to have a holden 336 stroker in an old rangie with t700 trans, cam was mild, had extractors as they made them for rangies, not vn heads though, and ran a stock port matched intake with quadrajet carby.
    Used 26L/100 on 35's.

The 727 has a thirst all of its own.
