Yes, but that is for all modules and hardware is it not.

If I want to buy the SLABS modules and cable I think I am look at about $400.

It does not take too many $55 or $70 dollar trips to the dealer to recoup and then I could potentially sell it when I sell my bus??

    Rovacom Lite

This seems like the kind of thing every LR club should buy collectively and then loan-out to members. I don't know if I would trust myself with this kind of fiddling power, however.

I might be suffering the lights for differant reasons, but the fact for me is that every time I have had my lights activated(and lost the TC) (which is not fun when you are trying to get home in a hurry on the Pennisula Development Road early in the wet.

Anyway I use a one litre water bottle and squirt water all over the brake calipers and in behind the rotor(as much as I can). this has worked everytime,,,, except the time the dust shield fell off and tore away the TC wires,,, 8O

It is worth a try, I have sussed that you have to really try to get the water up between the rotor and the axle housing. This seems a cheap and simple fix but it really does work for me.(before you fund the stealers)

On the last trip home, I even just drove back and forth in one of the many sill deep puddles/floods. In my case it just seems to be the sensors are clagged with crud and the water floods the crap out.

    waring lights

Well join the club. I've had the exact same problem for the last 3 months, each time i've taken the disco 2 to clear the lights it's been a different wheel (at least they haven't charged me for it) so i'm starting to get used to seeing the lights on the dash, god knows what it'sgonna cost me to get the thing fixed considering Landrover don't know whats going on, & i've already had the diff lock switch replaced for $125.00 but if you do find a solution i'd be happy to hear about it..

I am very tempted to purchase, but can't really justify the cost. It will cost about $k to just get the SALBS module.

So much for customer service. LR suck with that.

It annoys me when there is a specific design fault that they charge to fix.

How many of us have had to replace these sensors, or the wiring loom, or the ABS modulator ( Ouch!!!! ).

If they design something that is not up to the task, especially when it relates to saftey feature such as anything to do with brakes, they should replace/fix free of charge.

As much as I love LR's I probably will not consider purchasing one next time.

The dealers are rip off merchants. $55 for a 5 minute job to reset the fault ( and they tried to tell me its a 30 minute job )

Well you could just stand there next to the mechanic while they do it with a stopwatch.

Hi guys was driving along and 3 warning chimes and the TC and ABS lit up on dash Turned off restarted car and TC had cleared but ABS still lit up.

Later in the day hit the brakes going over a pot hole and ABS clanged as it does when it engages and ABS light on dash instantly cleared itself Could this be a faulty sensor. Any ideas?

    Regards Adrian
