Knock Sensor connector, need help identifying it

    Hi Everyone,
I need some help to try and track down where to buy a connector for the Bosch Knock Sensor.

Anyone have any ideas on which connector is the one that suits? Even if someone knows the brand of the connector, that would help as a starting point.

    Thanks,
    Stirling

I think I might have worked it out, the connector is a Bosch 2 pin female.

Now I need to work out how to make the step down studs to mount them on the block!

I deleted this information - TR Spares have the posts - $13.90 for two delivered. May be able to send the connectors as well.

I'm 80% sure. I looked at the photos closely with the sensor in my hand. It definitely isn't the Bosch EV1 (below). The connector is set quite deep into the sensor housing.

Both of those plugs are not correct though the first is closest put does not project out far enough.

The plug in connector goes completely inside the housing of the knock sensor.

See these pics I just took of the plug that goes into the knock sensor - my knock sensors are the same as in the original post.

You can see with the connector it is a bit different to the first connector but a put different and completely different to the second NZ one which does not go inside the knock sensor.

The last pic is the knock sensor with the plug inside it - completely enclosed by the knock sensor.

    Bugger!
That means it is this one...
    Bosch Alternator Connector LS Late

The others are already on the way to me, so I guess I'll need to send them back and changed them over. Thanks for the heads up!

Indoubt that the alternator plug will fit, i cropped and edited the images, the plug which is good should have 3 guiding tracks at the top and3 at the bottom (as those marked with blue) which are only 2 on the aleternator connector to fit into those channels(which i marked with red only at the bottom) on your first picture which are also 3 at the top and 3 at the bottom if you see what i mean

This is what the actual plug looks like from the end

Stirling if you intend to use the knock sensor just as a setting up tool then just solder two wires to the contacts in the knock sensor - the right contact is the signal and the left contact is the black shielded wire.

These are the same longyue 10set GM LS Series Engines 2 Pin Connector fit Bosch Alternators | Longyue autoparts factory | Pinterest | Engine (top left corner) which specify a GM LS Alternator plug so should fit,
