disco thermo fan hub
8) ok the thermo fan hub in my 1995 disco v8 has taken a bait and does not free wheel as it should,
i have heard that a replacement from a ford will fit, but i don't know which,
does anyone know what fits and works,
or do i have to go genuine?

Fan hub
Just been through this exercise.
Davies Craig part number 2806 is the one to get IF the fan nut is 37 mm across the flats. Expect to pay about $270+gst from reputable oarts supplier.

The bit I'm talking about is the viscous fan hub. Check the Davies Craig website for details. Look under Range Rover commercials. I also assume that your Disco gas a serpentine belt.
hth a bit more.

Harry,
Thanks for bringing the price of ERR3443 to my attention. This is a price from long ago and needs to be changed, not enough hours in the day to keep up with everything on the website. Our current price on ERR3443 is $251.90.
If anyone one sees a price that is higher than our competitors please let me know.
