    Maxi Diff/axle costs?

G'day. on my way home from sydney today my rear diff bung exploded out of the rear plate on the diff of our 110, and allthough I have a sally under a s3 I could scab the plate from, I am thinking this might be the right time to up grade to a Maxi diff and Axle set up, so I was wondering how much have people paid for the Parts and how much for the labour?
where is recomended for some one from the Newcastle area, allthough I am happy to drive a long way if it will save a quid?
    Thanks for any input

I've just (toady) finished fitting Maxidrive lockers and axles to my Salisbury rear and Rover front.

Current cost for Salisbury Maxidrive is $1532 including axles, drive members, vacuum tank etc. Freight from Maxidrive to Adelaide was $86. You also need to send your hemisphere and a side gear to Maxidrive for machining. This cost me $18 via Australia Post.

I've fitted it all myself, but if you need someone to do it all for you in Sydney, then give Graeme Cooper a call.

Front Maxidrive was $1958 including axles plus another $286 for drive members. I supplied my own AEU2522 CVs.

that sounds pretty good, is it a simple swap over for the rear?

some one said somthing once about putting flex on the axles while setting them in place?
