M8 I can't help with that Q however more generally a mate with a D2 just had them installed front and rear and very impressive (at the extreme they would be assisted by ETC but they work very well even before that cuts in).

From memory the ATB only comes in fine spline. Are you trying to keep it original, or swap out the internals?

In my case I have a 200TDI with the LT77 so I thought mix and match.
I have Tracta joints in the swivels now so to go to fine spline diffs I will need CV,s that the inner shaft is removable and get Maxidrive axles made to suit.
As far as I know the only ones that might work are S3 V8, but havnt done the homework yet.
Hoping someone might have done it already.
Mine is a series one so not a straight swap over with the S3V8 due to the different track.

If you go the fine spline route, pretty sure Barry/Hi-Tuff can make some customs for you

I have one Series 3 CV in good nick for sale if you go down that track.
