If I had my time over I would have given Davis Performance a go.
Re: checking tunes with Nanocom I don’t think so but other will confirm.
All as above my td5 has a nnn ecu fitted which to the best of my knowledge means it can be flashed with a remap for better towing and drivabilty.
1> I have NANOCOM is there anyway i can tell if ecu is remapped.
2. Does any member do re maps and have a suitable tune. I will pay of course, not chasing freebes. prefer to deal within Aust if possible
The vehicle currently has a new radiator, bigger intercooler, EU3 ?? and thats about it. Will be towing a tinnie and occasionally a campiing trailer. Thinking of upgrading to vnt in the future.
Thanks Baz

Re: checking tunes with Nanocom I don’t think so but other will confirm.
Although not in Australia, td5 inside are very good. The difference it makes is greatly improved.
Unfortunately he can’t keep up with his potential customers .
Took many months for an initial response and to date still waiting.
I have no experience with a Davis tune, however, have read a number of posts with concerns of high EGT and quite aggressive.
This was some time ago and improvements may have been made.
Worth giving them a call.
TRS in Adelaide will also do a remap.
Checking remap I think you can tell if you read out the map and it'll de a .tun file and not a .map
I have s stage 1 tune and can check this afternoon if someone more knowledgeable doesn't chime in first
Also if you can't find an Aussie tunes maybe give Alive tuning UK a try??
Cheers Lemo
Also ask some questions
What type of tuning do they do??
Can they remap the current sensor maps to allow use of existing map and maf and waste gate without using things like boost boxes etc??
You can download the file onto a SD card, then place the SD card into a computer and open it as a text file.
In my case there were text lines which showed who had developed the tune.
The stock tune has lots of information and shows it was developed by Volvo.

Or a rescaled map sensor?
