    Car Battery Warranties

Anyone made a claim within a warranty period? How successful were you? I may be making a claim for a Marshall battery which is still in the warranty period and the vehicle has not exceeded the stipulated kilometres either.

Had this issue a couple of times with our work vans,no problem at all.

They are not marshall batteries, and we always buy from the same battery place.

The last Caterpillar batteries that I bought had a 5yr pro rata warranty - no other stipulations. If there was a problem within the 5 years I would expect them to honour it according to the warranty.

I was on a trip and my newish Century deep cycle battery wouldn't charge. I took it to Supercheap and they tested it. It failed their test so they replaced it with no other questions asked.
