Front lower control arm hydra bushes

Hi all, need advice. Buying a 2014 D4 T6. Only done 38,000 kms. Alto LR in Sydney have checked the vehicle for me and advised it has wearing on the front lower control arm hydra bushes. So this will need attention in 10-20’s kms. Is this a big and expensive repair? Other than that they said it’s in good condition. Thanks for your feedback!!

It's ~$1000-$1300 if you get a dealer to do it. They will just swap out the both left and right control arms, cause it is easier for them to do it that way.

If your handy, just purchase the arms ~$700 and do it yourself.

If your really handy and can get hold of the appropriate tool to press the bushes out then you can just purchase the bushes ~$60 each and do it.

These bushes are almost consumables. Some report getting ~100,000k from them, others report about what you say ~50,000k.

Thanks. That’s awesome feedback. I am not handy at all! Bummer. The car has only done 38,000 kms and majority city driving. I would hope I could get more than 50k out of it.

    Bushes $60
Arms complete with front bush and ball joints $700
Labour to supply and fit $1300

They bushes are consumable- it’s one of the main reasons for such a smooth ride without NVH.

No , supply and fit is up to that price ( $1300 )as Tombie mentioned , that should also include a wheel alignment.

Is that each side,or both fronts?

    Just for clarity,$1300 per corner?
