    Park brake light not operational

    2013 Defender 110 2.2 4dr Wagon

    When you turn the ignition on, the park brake indicator light illuminates. Bulb seems to work fine.

    However when the park brake is applied, no light.

    Where should I start?

    you haven't given us much to go on or any indication of actual model of 110,

    but you could take a look at the wiring & connections at the base of the parking brake lever

    There's usually a microswitch on or near the base of the brake lever. Most have some form of adjustment.

    I pulled the warning light switch to bits last weekend. On mine (300tdi), it's inside the boot at the base of the lever. the contacts were filthy, so I cleaned it all and reassembled it. Working well again now.
