Nope, but I also remember something llike that.
Good luck
Remember reading in a thread somewhere about pulling the bulb a smidgin to concentrate the beam or something :?: too busy packing to do a search, does anyone remember what it was about???

Hear something about it at work but no real idea.
It changes the relationship of the bulb to the reflector. I think if you pull the bulb back it should focus the beam more and if you push it forward it should make the beam wider.
hth.

yeh, ok, but what is the bit I'm pulling, the bulb itself or the entire mounting thingy. 8O

I don't have the first idea of how to achieve this, all I know is what the result of it should be.Originally posted by crump

If there's a way of moving whatever that mounts the bulb to the reflector with washers or something. I'd guess that moving the bulb itself might make it all a little fragile and maybe prone to shaking and breaking.
I'd guess also that moving the bulb might bring hot things closer to things that shouldn't get quite so hot.
The other, not so result positive solution is; a coke can, some pop-rivets and some matt black spraypaint. Use it to make up a light baffle around the bits of the light you don't want to spill out onto the bonnet.

Crump - what model LF spotties do you have? My 240's I just spin the casing in and out to adjust the focal length. It's great on the Blitz's because you can get one focussed into a tight pencil and spread the other a bit - and along with a lens you get quite a wide beam. I take it you have another model....
I have the 240 blitz. Knew it was easy but couldn't remember.
