TD5 updated MAP sensor - anyone using?

Be aware therefore that it's not a direct plug and play fit, the Mercedes sensor, part number in the OP, may therefore be a quicker and better purchase given that it reads 0.5 bar higher and is physically a direct replacement fit.

This seller on eBay is offering them (the Mercedes MAP) for $111.69 AUD delivered from the UK, by far the cheapest that I have seen todate Bosch 0281002244 Pressure/Temperat Sensor 3165142430980 | eBay Sometimes eBay have 5 and 10% off special codes too which will reduce it further.

G'day. Old thread i know but have anybody found the actual p/n of the 3 bar so called "uprated MAP sensor" linked in the first post sold at huge price cos it seems they keep it secret UPRATED TD5 MAP SENSOR — LRO

I think I'm running a 3.5 bar one, if you are at all interested I'll dig up that part number.

For anyone else thinking of doing this, remember that you will need a NNN ecu and it will need to have the MAP/IAT settings changed.

The uprated Bosch sensor I am using is part number 0281002316. Pressure range is 0.5 to 4 Bar.
