Aklements, how much blow by has it got?
Td5 in good nick should be able to idle without lifting the oil cap when it's unscrewed, or have much noticeable pressure when revved as a rough guide

I checked the drain at the bell housing this morning and a little bit drip out after a week or so of just driving around town but Td5 rear main seals appariantly rarely leak and this is supposed to be a new one any chance the sump seal could leak into the bell housing
