No progress on the body lift yet, still waiting for my blocks. I have made a hole at the base of the windscreen for a snorkel though, now I just need to persuade my exhaust fitter mate to bend some pipe for me...
On another front, it seems that my 120 amp alternator (done about 85km) has suffered a bearing failure. Will do some diagnosis (run engine with belt off) on that today and possibly have a word with my autosparky...

Alternator sorted. It was the decidedly weak alternator bracket flexing and making bad noises. A strategically placed bracket seems to have solved the problem. A little unattractive perhaps, one day I might remake it a bit more professionally.

I also picked up a sample piece of 3 inch exhaust pipe to test my hole drilling handiwork for the snorkel. I still have a bit of work to do yet, my hole was nowhere near big enough!

I now have my lift blocks, but will be out of town for a week or so. One day I will get this lift done! At least the snorkel is sorted now.
