    Well alrighty... just remember I'm very much a beginner at this auto elec stuff...

    Firstly, I had connected the lead that is supposed to go from the positive terminal to the fuse box under the drivers seat to the negative lead on the battery... silly me assumed cause it was black thats where it went... about the only thing I didn't take a photo of before i started this whole project... lesson learned...

    Secondly, I was using the multimeter wrong which is why I kept thinking I had volts where I was supposed to have them... it was all very confusing until I went looking for that lead that was supposed to go to the positive terminal... another lesson learned...

    Anyhoo she has fired up now no dramas... progress has been made!
