Would be great if you could get that 2 stroke smell.
1 thing i do think is great to add is a splash of Liqui Molly Diesel Boost DIESEL ADDITIVES – LIQUI-MOLY Australia
There are better smells. Have you smelt a 2 stroke running alcohol and Castrol R?
A friend of mine used to pour a bit of castor oil into his petrol tank because he liked the smell. He often went even further and removed a threaded plug in the exhaust manifold so that more of the smell wafted into the car.
He reckoned it made his side valve Hilman Minx smell like a racing car.

I used to add my left over kart fuel that ran Castrol R30 to my road car tank.
Shame Castor is so bloody dirty.
A retired engineer told me that there was some advantage in using 2 stroke oil in older diesels running on low sulphur fuel. He reckoned that 2SO helped keep the seals in older injection system soft and lubricated. Two strokes have crank shaft seals exposed to petrol, so need something to keep them from going hard and brittle. He used 250mls every second tank. Probably won't do much in a modern diesel designed to use low sulphur diesel, but might help in an older Tdi or series diesel injection pump.
