Drain Plug Torque Settings

All

Does anyone know what the correct torque setting is for the drain plug in the Salisbury diff?

I know, if overtightened, you can lose the plug inside the diff which causes a whole range of unwanted and expensive problems. To avoid this I have been erring on the side of caution.

Have checked the workshop manual, but surprise, surprise it does not tell you!

Thanks

just make sure its tight enough not to fall out....
do it about as tight as you would a spark plug....its not crucial unless it falls
either in or out......

they come coated in hylomar from the factory...
so some type of thread sealer is a good idea....will also stop them from falling out.....
