    Can anyone identify this calliper?

Any ideas? Supposed to be off a Land Rover. The numbers I can read don't come up in any searches I've done.

Looks like a single line update D1 caliper. RRC all had two brake lines and bleed screws everywhere.

Looks more like a front caliper to me, it has the notch where the RRC has an extra bleed nipple.

Front example with the same cast in numbers:

LANDROVER DISCOVERY CALIPER LH FRONT (10TH LETTER OF VIN M-W ) 04/94-02/99 | eBay

Rears are single line for all models, the piston casting is obviously single pot. Example:

Brake Caliper RH Right Rear Land Rover Discovery 1 Drivers Side Rear RTC5889 | eBay

Cool, I looked at it and it looked 2 pot rather than 4 pot to me.

Thats something I'm trying to find out. I think incredible brakes can be done at cost though.

One of my long term plans is to work out if Def ventilated 4 pots will go on, same with 2 pot rears.

Also trying to work out big brakes for a D2 also - prob Rangie fronts and D4 rear discs, but still a bit to do there also. This would need 18's.

MC, apparently there is a twin diaphram unit that I think the D1(?) used also???
    Cheers
