It won't fit in the aux position but should just in front of the main with an aftermarket tray.
I've recently purchased a new Fullriver DC105 12V battery as my dual battery in my Pajero, like only a few weeks ago, so that battery is brand new $400+.
I'm now selling my Pajero to buy a Discovery 4 and wondered whether the Fullriver DC105 would fit in a D4 as a 2nd auxillary battery?
I'm planning on installing a Traxide dual battery setup and this would be ideal.
I doubt that it fits as most D4 installs I've seen use Optima yellow tops, but thought I would check.
The dimensions of the Fullriver DC105 are:
- Width: 169mm
- Length: 307mm
- Height: 215mm inc terminals
It won't fit in the aux position but should just in front of the main with an aftermarket tray.

Hi BeeGee, unfortunately that battery is too long and will not fit in the engine bay and you are right at the height limit as well.
The only way to use a battery of that size is to mount it in the rear cargo area.
When the D4s first came out, I made my original D4 kits with the battery in the rear cargo area and I still provide these kits for the UK.
I can provide you with one of these kits if you prefer to set up that way.
Just a suggestion, see if you can get a good price on eBay for that battery and stick with the under bonnet setup as this has a load of advantages over the rear mounted battery setup, with the main advantage being the space saved in the cargo area.
That Fullriver would suit a camper/caravan storage very well....
