Whats wrong with the old one,has it perished or is the motor none genuine and the rad to big/to small.
Find good top and bottom tanks from a SIIA or SIII and get a rad man to add them to a 4 core + expansion tank on the side and your away.

When I'm here I want to be out there.
Sorry if its a stage one V8 just redo the core if the (side) tanks are any good, if not maybe a early mod county rad will do.Originally Posted by Sly

its just old and had cores blanked off here and there to stop leaking and so on
and a rad man want 800 for a heavy duty 4 core with my tanks (cause there ok condition) so just doing some research to try and find a cheaper option.

and looking for another rad man.......
yeah i know but i have been shooping around for 6 weeks now and the cheapest for a standard recore was $690.
im getting ****ed off about it now!
not sure what to do?
dan
go to the wreckers and have a wander around...and see if you can match it up to
any other car.....
something has to have something which is the same size and with the tanks and hoses in almost
identical positions......
with a lot smaller price tag......
just a thought.....
well i spoke to another rad man today and he can do a 3 core recore for 450 or a brand new 4 core for 600.
im goin down there to have a chat to him tomorrow!
might go the newie will last forever tthen i guess.
