Pretty sure I used 10mm x 100mm bolts on the Rover V8s.
Can some one advise the length and thread size i need to put a 4.4 on an engine stand ? , mounts on the stand are approx. 1/2 inch thick.

I thought mine were 3/8”unf, but could be wrong.

I think there may be a mix of both depending on the block. The 3.9 and 3.5 we have in the shed pretty sure were 10mm, just had a look and thats what they appear to be. I did have to space with nuts or washers to get the right fit. I know the old Rover 6 cylinder was an odd size maybe 3/8 and that is why it is not on an engine stand at present.

The 4.0 and 4.6 I had on engine stands last May were definitely not 10mm. I tried them first and found they were too big. 4.4 could be different though.
