Re ** above - actually the cdl engaged light function is independent of the ETC (electronic traction control) state. One is not reliant on the other.

But yes, which is why a momentary switch is a good solution as startup is the only critical time and then after start up with ETC disable you can still have the CDL locked light on the dash as designed.
			
		
	 
 Here’s a demo of my solution that i posted some years back. However, since I upgraded the SLABS computer earlier this month (Jan 2020) to deal with the TC isses I’ll be re-purposing the momentary switch to momentary trigger my rear camera sometime soon.
