    Cooper STT's

Anyone in the forum tried Coopers STT's on their truck - will be up for tyres at some point this year and have seen these on a number of patrols and Landcruisers. Daz

After about 4,000kms on the STT's I can say they have been heaps better than the ST's.

I just pulled the wheels off last night and put the road wheels back on and the STT's have worn about 1-2mm and there is no chipping and the tyres have seen 3 weekend trips so far. Some rocky and rutted tracks but mainly good dirt tracks.

Haven't got a set, yet, love the look of the tyre though , I've a mate who has a set on his jokeroo uses them as daily driving tyres. He's very impressed says they don't make a lot of difference noise wise compared to his old bridgestones and have vastly improved offroad performance.

The first image that came to my mind whilst he was telling me this was putting a pair of hiking boots on Bambi.

Reading an older post and being bored I entered "Coopers Tires lawsuits" into google, and ???? got the following. There are more. I had Coopers HT on a Disco 2 and they were great. Was I lucky?

    Cooper tyres. Not convinced.

I've been on club trips in the past and almost every tyre that ****s ityself is a Cooper. maybe coincidence but I am sceptical.

The STT patterns are supposed to be more improved. Plus I find them overpriced, even more so the Goodyear Wranger MT/R's.

Will probably put on the Goodridge Mud Terrains as I have heard lots of good reports and a lot less bad compared to Coopers STT.
Even though I have Coopers HT Plus on the 18" now and they have been fantastic.

Would be interested to here from others on the forum that have run B.F. Goodridge Mud Terrains and Coopers STT. (EG: How long tires have been on and how are they are wearing).
