I just don't think it is right to install one after LR go to all that trouble to get the Defender as aerodynamic as possible.

Ive taken two friends on seperate trips up to the Kimberley and both of them went off their face at the same place same time one year apart. It was always the first sunset after we left Broome heading south - they take a shift behind the wheel. Glare came right into the drivers side door so they reached up to the visor to swing it......

WHAT THE %#$%??? YOU CAN'T MOVE THE *%$*ING VISOR!!!!!

NOBODY CAN BE THAT STUPID....THEY HAVE TO BE TAKING THE #^%$ING PI$$. WHY? WHY NOT HAVE SWINGABLE VISORS? WHY DO THEY INSIST ON TORMENTING ME?

THIS IS THE MOST INFURIATING CAR I'VE EVER SAT IN.

Weird/sad thing is I find this hilarious. I'm expecting the same this trip when victim number 3 is enticed into my lair.

at least the internal visors are shaped around the rear vision mirror.
In a GU Patrol they aren't.... there's a bloody big gap around the mirror........don't they have the bloody sun in Japan ????

I've had a good pair of reasonably expensive polaroid sunnies that I purchased a few years ago... could never wear them, they were too heavy and dark and always felt like I was robo-cop to see things around me... ie had to swivel my whole head.... I ended up buying a lighter pair, in weight and in darkness. Anyway, once I bought the defender, I couldn't find my normal light-and-bright pair, grabbed the polaroids and mate, they are perfect... they fit just right and I've never had to use the sunvisor!

Funny thing though, once I step out of the landy with them on I'm like a blind man... hands are out in front so I don't bump into anything

It was $100 10 minutes ago, what happened?? So why couldnt you wrap it in bubble wrap and send it to me, at my expense of course?Judging by the size and weight of some of the gear I've been getting from Vic. it wouldnt be a problem.A pic would be nice.

Hy Way Sunvisors can do the Defender sunvisor.
Price is $140.00 for the basic sunvisor but they need 3-4 wks notice .

I didn't ask about painting but I know they can match to the car (factory colours).
Cheers - and thanks for that Scott.

$100 is a fair price methinks - but the buyer collects bit is equally important!

I work on the principle that everything has a value to somebody who wants it ... so I'll leave it open to the market.

Hey I was happy with the $100, but the pick up dont work for me, bugger.
All these guys that slagged me for wanting one are probably closet sunvisor lovers, one of them will get in touch with you on the sly.
If you change your mind on the postage thing, and can post a pic or guarantee me its a good un, let me know.
