TD5 Head Stud neglected on reassembly!

    Arrgh,
I thought I did good by assembling my TD5 head on the bench and using a crane to plonk it on.
But I forgot this stud! (Pic stolen from another thread for illustration purposes only - not my block)

Luckily, the head is only sitting on so I can lift it again and fit the stud.
However coz it's a D2, there is little room at the back because of the upper firewall and lifting it on and off clean and square with the stud fitted is not so easy.
Any tips? I don't reckon the stud can be replaced with a bolt either, as the head overhangs. Dang it.

    Cheers
    Ralph

Can you double lock 2 nuts to stud and drive it into block once head is on ?

I suspect so. I think that's how I got the stud in my donor head off.

Sorted! Two thin nuts locked and it's sweet and tight!
