Actually reminds me of when I bought the Range Rover,

I had some idea of getting a diesel and airconditioning,

At least with the rangie I had decent airconditioning

When I got the Defender I figured it would meet both criteria,

Oh well at least it's a diesel.

    defenders have both...airconditioning and heating......

only problem is the airconditioning only works in winter.......
and the heater only works in summer........

trying to use either one out of its immediate season will result in malfunction.....

hence the reason for running an engel all year round.......(to carry the alcohol...)
for ones own central heating elixer........
and this seems to be the best solution.....tried and tested.....

so......dont bother wasting time on the heater and aircon......
but rather stick to what you know.....it works best......this applies to all fender owners.....

    Well, you would wouldn't you.

Even in Winter, it's a good way of reducing condensation on the inside of the screen quickly. Doesn't run much, but dehumidifies when it needs to.
