    Try your Refrigeration Supplies outlet.
Can't think of a name, but we used to use this for leak detection. There are better ones now where you use a special lamp (UV???) to show up the fluorescence.

Ed. There you go then. I posted this before clicking the link.

Right think I found the leak....

Is it easy to get these fixed ? i.e. I can pull the radiator out and take it to someone, but can they be fixed or is better to just get a new one, which i can image is $$$ !!!

THIS IS WHERE I FOUND IT, passenger side, looks like the side tank is leaking as there isn't any other leaks up higher.

If the dollars $$$$$$ are a tad scary, why not try some of that Bars Leaks stuff or similar. It looks like a minor weep so may be worth a try.

    Cheers

Yep I would give the bars leak pellets a go, had a leak in mine and could not find it and the Bars fixed it.

Also was reading a book written by the Captain of the first nuclear submarine and he said they were on a test run down off south america before they went on their run up under the polar ice cap and they had a leak in their reactor which they could not find, so they surfaced at night off some town and put two men ashore to buy up all the Bars leak stopper they could get their hands on. Fixed their problem.

i would never put Bars leaks in any car unless it was the last resort, IE i was stuck out in the middle of No Where with only a can or Bars leak and 10 litres of water.....

It works by blocking small holes up with the goo in it.

So it also blocks cooling passages and radiator fins ect......

take the rad in to your local radiator guy and ask them to clean / rod the core out - they have to take one of the tanks off to do this. This might as well be the side leaking!!!

*** STOP *** DO NOT USE BARS LEAK or any other brand. These products not only stop the leak, they also block up other components in the cooling system eg:- the tubes in the Radiator, Cabin Heater, Oil Coolers, Control valves including the Thermostat. I have overhauled various engines that have used such products at great expence to the owner due to engine being cooked or seized. Leave to the the radiator experts.
