Lovell Springs - Anybody Using Them

Hi Seeking feedback on Lovell Springs

Looking to replace my County's springs.

Was going to go with King Springs, however, I have seen Lovell Springs well priced.

    Would appreciate feedback.

I am sagging a bit to the left (truck, not me).

Vehicle to be fitted out with heavier equipment, including Steel Winch Bar and Mounted Winch.

Throw in my auxillary tank in a few weeks, and she will be sagging a bit.

    Cheers in advance.

I've been using Lovells for a while now, and so far they've been pretty good. No dramas.
    Cheers

I prefer to use the LRA springs. Not overly cheap, but they offer plenty of different rates, heights and will swap if you are not happy with the rate.

I've had lovells in the past and they're not too bad. Kings are too stiff and belong on Toyotas and Nissan which have crap suspension dynamics

I've got the lovells/bilstien combo in my defender, and while good, got a nice lift,no sag after a year, the spring rates are astronomical!I had the 2in standard duty front and rear, and the rates are 313lb and 493lb respectively!Amazingly, they still do flex(off road anyway)!!The ride is harsh to say the least.I didnt like the way it rided when fully laden(for say a fully self sufficient 6 week trip),it felt as if the rear was not forcing the front to work enough(at 313lbs,hardly suprising),so I chucked in some 2in heavy duty(a whopping rate of 578lbs!!).This seemed to fix the balance, actually forces the front to work, but really no good for anything but heavily laden touring, goes ok on the road, rides like a ute/truck,but sux compared to original on dirt(as you would expect) Now going to try some lra springs, better selection of rates, with maybe airbags for touring. What was the question again................
