    LT95 Overdrive - in/out position.

On a LT95 with overdrive the activation push rod shaft is at the back of the overdrive and moves in and out to activate the overdrive.

I cannot remember which way it is - so with the push rod all the way in I assume O/d is activated and when the push rod is pulled out the O/d is deactivated.

Can someone please confirm one way or the other.

    Thanks

I've never seen an OD in a LT95 box. I can check my series OD when I get home in a couple of days.

Thanks but the superdrive overdrive on LT95 is different to the standard fairy on the series. The position of the cabin selector can be set up either way - depends how the linkages on the back of the gearbox are set up.

So need to know what position the action push/pull shaft on the back of the O/d is - you think the plunge shaft on the rear of the OD casing is in when disengaged, out when engaged - I am not so sure but I cannot remember.

    Thanks for the input .

I edited my post as I had a moment of reflection and couldn't remember which way it was! My OD lever hits my main gear stick in 4th gear and I can't remember if this was with the OD in or out...

I should have put a pic up before.

So with the push rod in the out position on the O/d is it engaged or disengaged?

    Cheers

looking at the shiny rod, logic would suggest the overdrive is engaged, are you able to jack a wheel , mark the propshaft and turn engine 1 revolution to find out ?
