Hi Trav,
i got them off a Mag Wheel and Tyre Centre in Preston, Melbourne. They were $15 a tyre cheaper than others.
For the money i highly recomend them as a muddy.

Tony, I bought my mud retreads last week for $85 each in Guildford (7.50x16). AAA tyres; they advertise in the Trading Post.

I would not normally use retreads but Motorway don't do the remoulds in the size I was after. These have a 1 yr warranty with them & they're only for off road trips (I know I have to use roads to get to the off road bits;) ). The RR normally runs XPCs.

Josh Pryke brought them to a Sydney LROC mtg a few months ago. Not sure where you'd get them in other states.

Anyway the catch is that the tread depth isn't as deep as say a BFG. Chaeper yes, but they'll wear out sooner.

I'm not sure how much tread depth BFG's have, but the Nankang Mudstars i bought (265/75) had 17mm of tread. While i'm sure they wont last as long they do have a very deep tread.

just picked up a set of cheviot mags and almost new tyres for $300 and my wheels....

been wanting a set of cheviots since i had the v8 and they just fell into my lap today...
