Tony, I bought my mud retreads last week for $85 each in Guildford (7.50x16). AAA tyres; they advertise in the Trading Post.

I would not normally use retreads but Motorway don't do the remoulds in the size I was after. These have a 1 yr warranty with them & they're only for off road trips (I know I have to use roads to get to the off road bits ). The RR normally runs XPCs.

Anyway the catch is that the tread depth isn't as deep as say a BFG. Chaeper yes, but they'll wear out sooner.

I'm not sure how much tread depth BFG's have, but the Nankang Mudstars i bought (265/75) had 17mm of tread. While i'm sure they wont last as long they do have a very deep tread.
