    When brother got his, IIRC he reckons they get them made locally, not Ashcroft imports.
    Not that there'd be anything wrong with Ashcrofts quality. And came it at approx the same price, not worth the few dollars difference to worry about it. Sometimes a few dollars more but having it when needed is more satisfying.

    Curious how much he's got them for now, as when we got brothers a couple of years back it was his last one in stock, and it had a 'golder coloured'(zinc?) plating on it .. and about $180 or so back then.

    Having then lasered from some Bisaloy plate would be the go.

    oldish post now but i went with the Ashcroft unit as Rovacraft had one sitting here in Perth. Think it was $180ish from memory, kinda disappeared in the $4500 odd the whole trans rebuild...
