With the electronics I'm only guessing. It is the Disco ZF so has the same setup as they do. Gear changing is smooth and very consistent. For the best performance I have learnt to use small movements of the throttle. Plant it and so is slow to accellerate. Use small movement and the thing is a rocket. She cruises very happily but on very long slow hills like the pass out of woolongong and summer the box gets very hot. I chose to stop twice last time for about 5 mins each time just to be on the safe side. Since then I have learn't when off road to change to low range when the box starts to get to hot as she seems to cool down quicker and keep the temps down more than high range and the slower speeds. A lot of that is probably due to the torque/ stall converter and the way it has been set up as it is definatl not standard.

I have all the parts (a whole kit if you like) sitting in my shed to convert a Tdi fender to auto
I bought it off a guy who pulled it out of a 130 after the auto trans started playing up so he refitted his manual R380? the trans got rebuilt and I have it all sitting there waiting to go into my 130, (well that's the short version)
I've now changed my mind and am sticking with the manual so thinking of selling of anyone is interested,
It is disco ZFHP22 auto trans (pre electronic)
I have everything to convert from manual
the bellhousing,
engine rear plate (the adaptor piece fitted at factory, yes bellhousing won't bolt straight onto Tdi manual engine, what were LR thinking  ???)
flex plate c/w bolts & little spacer piece
torque converter
even the kickdown cable
It owes me $2200, if anyone wants it let me know
I'll even consider your R380 for trade in (it never hurts to have spares)
Thanks
