Hello all,
Vehicle is a disco 2 td5 but question not specific to this model.
I am awaiting delivery of an Ashcroft auto box and wanted to fit a new genuine cooler and pipes. Trouble is they’re like hens teeth atm due to covid. I can get a Brit part one but don’t want to risk the new box with this.
As far as I know the current cooler is fine although likely the original at 360k km.
So what do you think, pull current cooler out and give it a proper flush and put back or go for a Brit part? Even bearmach is out of stock and allisport.
If anyone has any ideas where to source a genuine one that’d be appreciated. Tried UK and US suppliers with no luck so far. I’m based near Perth.

Put a P38 unit in. Will take a little work and will cool a lot better.
Factory D2 unit is marginal at best.

The mob who built my auto wouldn't give it a warranty without a replaced ATF cooler as they trap debris if you've had a failure.
