    Recommendation for good quality LifePo4

    Hi all,

I am looking for recommendations for a good quality (I prefer as much non Chinese input to the battery as possible) LifePo4 around 100 amp hours for my electric trolling motor in my boat. I have a Victron LifePo4 25 amp charger but I would also prefer to be able to use this battery in my vehicle which has a RedArcDC2DC charger (that only has AGM and flooded cell settings). I have seen that Itechworld and Amptron seem to get good reviews. Not sure about the rest.

    Cheers

DCS seem to get great reviews in vehicles, mainly used as auxillary batteries, dont know if they would suit the boat, though.

I’ve heard good reviews about itech batteries

iTECH120X 12V 120Ah Lithium Ion Battery LiFePO4 Deep Cycle Camping RV – iTechworld

I don’t have any of there products but I have met people with them and no complaints

Maybe an old 250+ watt rooftop solar panel up above should provide some shade and put a bit of juice back in the battery whilst on the water, plus provide a bit of shadeRecommendation for good quality LifePo4Recommendation for good quality LifePo4

Right purchased a 100ah 100amp continuous draw LiFePo4 battery. Weighs 11kg. They do the same in SS but it isn't fully waterproof and for the boat I prefer waterproof. They build them in store and use cells from the largest prismatic cell builder in China. Very impressed with internal fittings and controller as well as the guage wiring used. Big Wei at Slacks Creek. They are very free with info and make up cables while you are there. They are agents for Penrite too and sell the big 25l containers at excellent prices. Cheers
