200 TDI Splil Line Return Rail Pipe

    Hello All,

Just wondering whether just the series of fuel pipes that connect to form the spill rail - return pipe on the 200 TDI can be replaced?

All together the set is called part number: ERR3652 - Fuel Spill Rail Pipe for 200TDI.

Or is the spill rail fuel pipe something special other than the readily available diesel tolerant fuel line?

    Kind regards
    Lionel

I used (by memory) 1/4 " rubber fuel line. Just pushes on. And if one piece is perished, replace them all.

I just did mine on a 300tdi, presume they are the same on a 200. I got some hose from the local mower repair place, I got pretty yellow tube It just pushes on, very simple job.

    Fattima & Donh54<

Thank you for your replies. After reading Donh's reply I went to one of the local diesel specialists and bought some new line. It turns out that it is the same flexible rubber hose with a cotton braided cover that Snowy had. The pipe's details are:
    ABS DIN 73379/82 - 3.2 x 7.0 - B - 0/36 > NBR/CO<

From this code the size would be an inside diameter of 3.2 mm and an outside diameter of 7.0 mm - where "B" is the type of pipe.

    Kind regards
    Lionel

I used 1/8 hose on my 300tdi, tight fit but didn't need clamps and never leaked.
