I set my rangie with 285's to the same as you, drove really good.
D1, went from 235:85’s on std rims, to 285/75’s on -25’s. Toe was set to about 1.5mm toe out with std rims, I assume this would be a tad more now due to greater tyre diameter.
Is there any benefit to going away from the 1-2mm toe out with the wider/taller tyres?

The diff in the front of my POS came from a modded 77 RRC running 35 x 12 tyres on 10" rims, now running 31 x 10 on 7" rims.
Haven't been bothered to even think about toe out......... can tell by looking at the front end it is toed out, tyres wearing fine all round.
Keep in mind that the chassis on these things can be out by more than 5mm between the same mount points each side and sleep well at night.
