    A-frame ball joint stuck

    Hi all,

I’m in the process to remove and fit a new a-frame ball joint. I’ve got all the bolts and nuts off but not able to get the bolt attached to the axle out.

Any tips and tricks for getting it out at home?

    Cheers

Thanks, it’s the twenty to five bit thats not giving. I tried a 10mm drill bit (reversed) with the hammer drill but no luck. Also dried to knock it out with an bit of 20x20 square tube still not budging.

When I left home I drenched it in wd40 will try again tomorrow morning.

    Cheers

    A-frame ball joint stuck

Bought a cheap rotary drill with a hammer only function. 10 seconds later it popped.

    I’ll uploaded a video soon

I used to undo the nut so some thread was showing then drive around the block, that was usually enough to free it up.
