Never had it. Admittedly, living up here amongst the trees helps.

Reason I have 3 phase to the house is that there was a dead a/c system here when we bought, but neither of us wanted to replace it. Of course, new builds are designed with a/c as standard. I can't imagine my son's house in summer without it.

It's predicted to reach 37° here on Sat, which is really just quite warm. Probably a bit higher out your way, Gav.

Plenty hot enough and anything over 25 it goes on as my wife thinks its unbearable, our house is quite hot though.
Previous owners had no insulation for the 20 years before we bought it, i put some in but once the AC ducting went in it will take a contortionist to get any more in.
