Hi Mat,

The scrap yard is on the LHS about 1 km after you cross Bayswater Rd. If you get to the Bunnings (on the RHS) you've gone too far.

I got the number from whitepages, I don't know if they're open Saturday, give them a call.

The alum box was 54cm wide x 86cm long x 17cm high.

I then went to Capral (Clayton) and got the alum. tubing $33 for 6 meters and the plastic corner joiners and made the frame.

The standard screw anything screws you get these days work fine. I think they are actually classified as suitable for Pine timber. I always use 8 or 10 gauge for fastening ply of 12 or more millimetres.
